Jill Hennessy
Her family is from Edmonton, a city who has Irish, Italian and Swedish heritage, and also French Ukrainian French and Swedish. Jacqueline's twin is an actress as well. Jill was fluent in many languages when she was growing up. This include Italian, French, and Spanish. Jill began to become interested in the world of acting when she was twelve. At the age of 12, in Toronto she started acting professionally as an actress in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. She played an escort along with the twins of her. After a course in improv taught by Deb Kimmet at Second City, she began her acting career in Toronto. Following her move to New York, Claire signed an agreement for two years to join Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. In the time that she was in New York, she worked on movies with a feature-length story, including RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1996) and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). In the years that followed, she landed roles in an assortment of uninteresting films. But in 1999, she was cast as a lead in the mini-series uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York, Exit Wounds and other major series were set to be released. The actress was cast as the lead in her role on the NBC police drama Crossing Jordan in 2001. In 2007, she won the Gracie Allen Award for "Outstanding female leading actress in a drama series" for her performance on the show. She got married in 2000 to her co-star Paolo Mastropietro. They have two children. In 2007 the couple was recognized as a member of the Canadian Walk of Fame.
